Thankful for these magnificent little moments!

Some magnificent little moments of this evening....

* playing pretend with Alahna while working together in the kitchen. She knocks on the wall by the kitchen doorway, and I have to invite her in. We both have different names(she assigned me the name Joy and she chose the name Sue) and she pretends to be a grown up friend coming over to visit. We talk about our kids and husbands. (My husband & kids keep their real names!) LOL It is so much fun! Tonight I had to set her straight though...she said she had been married for 3 years and a few minutes later told me her son was 10 yrs old.  I told her the number for her kid had to be smaller than the number for her marriage!! LOL She had 3 kids this time - Katy, Alexander and Grace.  When we get finished she says "well, I need to go now" and then suddenly my daughter arrives. :) I always say lots of good things about "my kids" and talk about how wonderful my "husband" is.

* playing badminton with hubby & Alahna in the backyard.

* catching lightning bugs with hubby & Alahna, then watching them walk hand in hand up to the house.

* Helping Alahna build a fort in our room to sleep in tonight.


 I am blessed beyond measure! SO undeservedly. Thank you, Father God for your blessings.
